Customer Spotlight Program
I remember saving all my allowances as a child and using to buy books. My favorite titles back then were the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series. My love for books kept me out of mischief. So it was no surprise to my family when I started the online children’s bookstore, SlimyBookworm.com
Cardinal to our mission here is giving back. Up to 20% of profits will go to fund literacy efforts among the underserved. How about paying it forward? SlimyBookworm.com is not yet profitable but that will not deterred us.
For 2011, we will be paying it forward to causes our customers care about. After all, your support is what has kept our virtual doors open.
So I am pleased to announce the roll out of our Customer Spotlight Program.
You simply fill out the form below highlighting a cause you would like us to donate to in your honor. If selected, we will contact you for your picture and will feature you on this blog. If you are camera-shy like me, that is fine. Pictures are not a mandatory requirement.
What is the catch? You ask. There is no catch; we simply want to reward our esteemed customers by giving to causes they care about. Our only requirement is you being a customer and you filling out the entry form.
Thank you.

The Cobb County Ferst Foundation’s mission is to Provide books for our local community and to prepare preschool children for reading and learning success. 61% of low income families have no reading material suitable for preschoolers at home! Literacy skills begin long before children learn to read. The Ferst Foundation wants to change the sad statistics by providing free books for children every month mailed directly to them until the age of 5. It only takes $36 a year to send books to one child!
Hope one of our customers nominate your foundation
All the best.
